What we're doing
Firm foundations for the future of drinking water throughout Lanarkshire are being laid with work on the Coulter and Daer treatment works now well underway.
- Increase the amount of water produced to 129 million litres per day
- Improvements to the filtration process to produce clearer. fresher water
Amount invested
£22 million in total. £16 million for Daer WTW, £6 million for Coulter WTW
